Mourne Moutains | Adventure

Recently we had one gorgeous day in Northern Ireland (they don't come very often). So my parents and I decided to head to the hills and take on Hares Gap, which is situated within the Mourne Mountains.

The sky looked rather ominous to begin with.

But that didn't stop my dad from smiling.

We persisted and heading on up the  mountain and sky soon cleared. Our surroundings were breathtaking

With a little bit of team work, we kept on going.

Until we reached Hares Gap and the Mourne Wall.

And we had beautiful views.

We obviously deserved a little break at our summit, so had a quick snack

And took a few photos

Before heading on our way.

I burst into 'the hills are alive' in my best Maria impression and managed to bring the sun out.

And we obviously had to include the obligatory selfies.

We met a few friends on the way down, including a little frog who I nearly stepped on before he quickly hopped out of the way.... phew!

And a load of cows just chilling in the middle of the road.

After escaping the cows guarding the path, we made it back to the bottom. Time for a quick cup of tea before heading home for a much needed shower and some food.

Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm | Review

I went a bit buck daft recently and bought a product which I had wanted for ages, but I had always managed to resist temptation.  I am not the type of person to spend a lot on one product, but when my old cleanser ran out I decided on a spur of the moment to buy the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm. And boy am I glad I did!

This product left my face feeling so soft, to the point that I kept stroking it after I used it. It smells amazing and my skin always felt fresh like it was brand new skin, it was just so lovely! I can't honestly say that it made my skin any clearer. I am quite lucky and my skin is ok on its own, so I cannot claim that it took away a load of spots, but for me personally my skin felt so much nicer after using it.

The only thing which I found slightly annoying, was the fact that it was a balm. This meant I had to use warm water to activate it and to remove if off my skin. I am very impatient, and having to run the water until it was hot enough to use was a bit of a pain. But a small price to pay for such a beaut product!

I really did love this product but the price for me is the only major downfall. It was £36 on Feel Unique, which I think is pretty steep, especially when you factor in all the other skincare products within your routine. But as a little treat to yourself, this is perfect!

Let me know if you have tried this product before or any other similar ones? I am always looking for new products to try :)

The wedding Season

This weekend I had the first of my weddings this summer and what a way to start them off! It was my cousins wedding and I don't know about you, but think family weddings are always the best. I wouldn't often get to see my family all together, but when we do it great to catch up and have a day of fun.

The day started in a local church, and everyone turned out in their finest, with the happy couple leading the way...

My mum dad and I tried our best to out do them....

but the bride definitely stole the show, I literally couldn't stop staring at her dress. She was gorgeous!
The venue was gorgeous, very old and reminded me of the great hall from Harry Potter, I half expected to see Hagrid skulk out from one of the rooms. (Unfortunately he didn't. )
There was cute table toppers inviting guests to take a photo with a message and send it to them
so obviously couldn't resist a moustache selfie with one of the page boys.

And we had beautiful weather, until half way through the photographs when the heavens decided to open and the bridal party had to take shelter under a tree!

The whole Ferguson family dressed up in their finest

I always love seeing everyones different table settings they choose
and I thought these were adorable.

The best part of my day.....dessert!
Pretty sure I was actually in Hogwarts....Wingardium Levisosa!!!

Then we danced all night, with my dad doing his best to embarrass me with his pretty dodgy dance moves (much to the amusement of my cousins!)

now to my OOTD...

I love this dress, super comfy and really summery, perfect (I think) for a summer wedding!

Paired with a little brown belt.

and cute wedges.

Dress -ZARA
Belt - Primark
Shoes - Office (Derby Wedge)

Did you liked this post? I currently have 2 more weddings this summer, so I am hoping to blog about them too. And I need two more dresses as well, its so tough being a girl....HAHA
